Ellen Miles is a Norwegian and Australian singer-songwriter.
Her childhood years were spent in Melbourne Australia. Ellen was one of those creative kids, always making stuff, whether that be toys, games, poems, stories, pictures, songs...
At the age of thirteen she moved to Norway with her family. Since then she has travelled a lot outside of Norway, but at the moment Sandefjord, a small town on the east coast of Norway, is her base. It was in this town she first realised that the songs she wrote were meant for sharing.
During the nine months leading up to November 2008 she has travelled back and forth to the west coast town Stavanger, recording the album «beloved intruder». This first album was rated «first class» by it's first reviewer! And the compliments continue...
Ellen's aim is twofold. One, she shares her own story of hurt and healing through powerful songs in order to give hope to others who are struggling. Two, she appreciates the significance of art and enjoys making music.
