Description
A quiet guitar and piano jazz instrumental album for serious times.
Notes
This is an instrumental musical journey through the processes of life, and an unusual tribute to a wonderful woman. Like her, it's reflective, quiet, and peaceful. The music features primarily guitars and piano, with a few other occasional details including pedal steel, dobro, vibes, clarinet and harmonica.
The album (except for "Over the Rainbow") was written by Ricardo and produced by Ricardo and Orville Johnson in Seattle in late 2002. It was engineered by David Lange and mastered by Ross Nyberg. The musicians are Ricardo, Orville Johnson, Rob Moitoza, Will Dowd, Mark Graham, Don Pawlak, and Susan Pascal.
Here is a small story from the CD booklet:
A woman, in a meeting with God, kept up her knitting. After a while God asked her if she was listening, to which she replied "yes, and I have some questions--but first let me measure your sleeve."
