Notes
This is the result of my continuous collaboration with my favourite rapper Sal Resco. His ability to write about any topic and flawlessly lay down the lyrics over any beat is second to none. Although the album is classified as hip hop, you will still manage to find variety on this album. “Let me Entertain Ya” and "The Rooster" are my tribute to my funkiest and grooviest bass player, Marcus Miller at this time. Live in Solitary is dedicated to Eric Bibb who inspired me during the performance of his song called “Like the Angel Say” in 2002.
Of course, my musical background being so rich has always allowed me to find inspiration in the most unlikely genre. I like that, so I will always give freedom to my mind and my fingers to play whatever comes in. I listen to and play music that I like, music that moves me, that makes me want to dance, to walk like a rooster, music that makes me think, etc… For that reason, I am trying to convey these emotions to the people who listen to my music.
