Description
A second album from Finnish metal group, aggressive and technical yet melodic with a progressive twist. Album contains nine headbanging and grooving songs. A must treat for fans of Nevermore, Symphony X and Dream Theater.
Notes
Reversion released it debut album King of Deceit in 2008. It received very positive reviews and was at the time the only Finnish Progressive Metal album reviewed and recognised globally. Reversion did a lot gigs in Finland supporting the album.
The second album, Obscene, was recorded during 2009-2011. The music style grew less progressive and more "compressed" and aggressive, but not forgetting the melodic foundation that has been present from the beginning. During the production of Obscene, Reversion guitarist Samuli Federley composed and recorded his first solo album which was released close to Obscene.
Obscene contains nine grooving and headbanging songs and is intended to be listened as a whole album, but all of the songs are strong individually.
Line-up:
Aleksi Parviainen - Vocals
Samuli Federley - Guitars
Rolf Pilve - Drums
Jaakko Nikko - Bass
