Use Me Lord

Lynn Logan has a lot of tales to tell. Basic details, she loves God most of all then, her family. She resides outside of Houston, Tx. with her husband, Keith, their babies (two mixed breed dogs, Xena and Shelby) and, Lynn's daughter who is finishing Tech school. Lynn will tell you that she was born to sing. Lynn's mom prayed before she was born, that she would have a daughter that would sing for God. Lynn started singing in a little Pentecostal church. She learned the old gospel hymns, out of a book (which seems to be a lost part of history nowadays). Later, she progressed to the childrens church then, middle school choir and finally, the adult choir at church. Lynn's pursuit of music was put on old for a while after she graduated school. She was married and took time off to raise her children. Later Lynn pursued a country music career which was somewhat successful. She had a band in the last couple of years that had some noteriety. Lynn's band won the local round of the Colgate Country Showdown in 2004. Lynn was nominated as a solo artist with her western swing cd for Female vocalist of the year with the Texas Music Awards in 2005. She was also nominated for 4 catagories with the Academy of Western Artists in 2005 for Female Vocalist of the year, Rising Star Award, Song of the Year and, Album of the Year. Lynn's song Hot Headed Honey was #3 on the Power Source Magazine charts for 6 months in 2005 and, she actually had 2 songs in their top 10 charts for 2 months. So you see, Lynn has a gift. She has a gift that she knows God gave her. Through all this, Lynn was caring for her mother who was ill with cancer. About 3 weeks before God called her mom home, Lynn started feeling the call from God to "come back home". Loosing her mom was a big event in Lynn's life as it usually is in anyone's life. Lynn's mom was also her best friend. They lived together more than they lived apart. Lynn always knew that she would never be successful in any music except gospel. Lynn believes the scripture in Matthew 14 describes her life. Verse 14 says, "Many are called but, few are chosen". Lynn knows that because of her mom's prayer, she was chosen to use her gift for God. Since she has done that, many things have happened for her good. She will tell you that meeting Don Frost with Frost Byte Records was not just coincidence, it was divine appointment. The right road started though with the direction of the church that she was to attend though. God led her to Grace Church of Humble, Pastors Brett and Scott Jones. Lynn wanted to go to a church where she knew the pastors were grounded because there are so many churches popping up everywhere. God confirmed to her that Grace Church is where he wanted her to be.
