Notes
Therese is an Oregon native. She started playing piano when she was five, primarily self-taught. Numerous family members played varying instruments, so there was always an abundance of music books around to challenge her. As a high school freshman, she became her school’s accompanist, ‘learning the trade’ playing for ALL choirs, small ensembles and annual musicals. She continued in music, completed a BS in Music Ed at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh.
After detouring to raise two girls, Therese began playing solo piano for Port of Portland’s Entertainment Program at Portland International Airport. She’s been there since 2007, and has since created four solo piano albums. Her most recent and first holiday album, “Winter Tones”, has a release date of November 15, 2015.
Her wonderfully imaginative music is available on Amazon and CDBaby, and can also be heard on Pandora, Spotify, and other internet radio stations. It is also available on her website, theresemichaudmusic.com.
