RedOak strive to combine their love for the “down and dirty” of grunge and progressive rock with powerful harmonic vocals. Coupled with the often melancholic and sometimes aggressive lyrical style, the outcome aims to project pure emotion and ultimately make the listener feel. Thus the band presents a unique, contemporary style, influenced by the best sounds of the 90’s - bands such as Alice in Chains, Tool and Deftones.
The band has finished recording and mastering their first full-length album: ReDesign, produced by the legendary Sylvia Massy (Tool, System of a Down, Cog) at Loud Palace Studios, Weed, CA. The album is set for release during the summer of 2013.
