Description
Re-count’s new studio production, Paradise Is No Through Road, is now available on all major digital platforms.
A limited version of the album, which contains the songs, links, background information and contact details, has been released on USB as well as in credit card format; and for those who’d rather listen to the tracks the traditional way, the kit also includes a DIY CD cover that can be requested at music@re-count.co.uk.
The album was written, played, mixed and recorded by Omar Enrico Bernasconi, a.k.a. Re-count; Mastered by Nino Mauro.
Paradise Is No Through Road is an electro-breakbeat album that evokes new beginnings through its refined sound, carefully crafted arrangements, and electro synthetic sound compositions made of samples, a barrage of cut-and-paste, and tons of drum bass.
It’s a nod to the 90s imbued with a contemporary flair, a homage to The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers, and to British drum’n’bass.
Happy listening!

This is Re-count’s third solo album, following Heart 18/10 in 1998, and Woodpecker’s Whorehouse in 2000. Together these three productions span a fifteen-year period of creative collaborations, the apex of which is reached with Egocollective – an album that incorporates twelve different singers. It was featured during a Rete 3 (RSI) Showcase and at various concerts between 2008 and 2009.
