Description
Blend up some U2, Third Day and Scorpions, add a Gipsy Kings/Jethro Tull garnish and top off with some deeply spiritual lyrics and you've got it.
Notes
This is my attempt at taking Praise and Worship to the next level. I leave it to you to judge if I've succeeded. Unfortunately most P&W today are collections of slickly produced derivative music wrapped up in tired and predictable cliches. C'mon people we can do better! If you look at the original Praise and Worship manual, the Psalms, you'll find a variety of speakers, audiences, and content with creativity oozing out of every line, and for us English speakers this is just a translation imagine how great it must be in the original.
I have attempted to recapture that creative flow both musically and lyrically. You won't be able to guess how the whole song's going to go in the first 30 seconds (guaranteed). This album will speak to you and speak different messages over multiple listenings. It's a layer upon layer kind of thing.
Anyway I appreciate all those out there where the deep calls to deep who are yearning for a better offering than what the machine's been churning out. So strap on the belts and be encouraged!

p.s. some of the tracks are short. The short ones are basically intros into the next song and I cut them in order to keep songs manageable for radio play. I highly recommend purchasing the whole album as it is set up to be a total experience.
