Mitch Pons's debut album was released on November 14, 2014 under the band name Mitch Pons Project, and has since gained recognition in the US, Brazil, France, New Zealand, Australia, Belarus, Uganda, Germany, South Africa, Peru, India, The United Kingdom and Canada. With radio airplay via Pandora and a solid worldwide distribution network, Mitch believes that this album marks the beginning of something different in the world of Contemporary Christian Music and Rock Music in general. With catchy melodies, spiritually deep lyrical content, and powerful instrumentation, Mitch Pons Project is captivating fans in a variety of demographics, from all areas of the globe. “Bringing folks to experience Christ, to feel His presence, and to know the love and hope that comes in walking with our Savior has been the intention from day one. I don’t write songs based on what I think a congregation and a group of fans will necessarily like. I write songs that are based on life experiences, our brokenness, and everyone’s need for forgiveness. The greatest blessing I’ve seen throughout the writing, recording and release of this album is that folks from all walks of life, from young to old, some believers and some not, have found hope through this music,” says Mitch.

Mitch Pons Project is the band name that was assumed when this project was conceived in late 2013. Mitch wrote and arranged all the songs, contributed as lead vocalist, rhythm and lead guitarist, pianist and keyboardist, and acted as producer of the album. Songwriting awards to date include: 2015 Semi-finalist in the Song of the Year songwriting competition for the song "Nothing Left of Me", 2015 Top 10 Nominee for the American Songwriting Awards in the Spiritual category for the song "Nothing Left of Me", 2014 Semi-finalist in The International Songwriting Competition (top 10% of over 18,000 total entries) for the song "Nothing Left of Me".
