Notes

Through his personal website, www.mauricehorne.com, Maurice Horne has published numerous music albums. He has been associated with CD Baby since 2001 when he published his first original musical compositions on the Internet. Since that time he has released an average of one music CD each year. He keeps his fans posted on all recent developments on his personal website. For example, in 2013 he published his first book, "Worlds Apart (One God, Many Worlds) Enlarged 2nd Edition." Maurice also released three new music albums in 2014 and 2015.

Maurice was an attorney and federal judge by profession for many years. He retired in 2011 and devotes more time to his creative endeavors. These endeavors have expanded to include publishing original music, poetry and videos on YouTube, Google+, Vimeo, Facebook and other venues. He has university degrees in both music and law.

Described as ambient, meditative, and inspirational, the music of Maurice Horne and his performances range from New Age, Classical, Hymns, Christmas Carols, easy listening mood music to original romantic ballads in his June 2015 release. With a degree in applied classical music, over the years he has become self-taught in the style of his performances. His ultimate goal is to create with each CD a new experience of total relaxation. Hear, for example, "Visions of Worlds Apart," a companion CD to his book. He suggest using headphones with this one. Very mellow.

One reviewer of his hymn performances is posted on his website. Amy B. on Rhapsody wrote: "(a)fter everything imaginable has been creatively done to hymns, there's a satisfying purity to hearing them with solo piano in their original form, not to mention at the hands of an instrumental master. He makes it simpler still depending on the strength of the melodies and the prayers in the hearts of those who penned them, letting inspiration speak (quietly) for itself."
