「JAZZING」と現在分詞形の名前で表現されたこのアルバムは、まさに幾見氏の意識体の中にある「JAZZ」が、音という物理現象を伴って私達の意識の中に飛び込んでくる。とても丁重に、大切に取り扱われている音たち。そして、そこから感じ取ることのできる百戦錬磨のスタジオワークと自在なサウンドメイキング。そして何よりも自由。ともすると著名な「誰か」をイメージしてしまいがちな「JAZZ」という音楽において、ただひたすら「誰」でもない、まさに幾見氏自身の「JAZZ」を堪能できる。特に私が気に入ったのは、10曲目の「Metaphor of Jazz」。
