Description

Rocking blues music from the guys who became the Hoosier blues-party band, the Kookamongas!

Notes

MRRM was recorded and released in Indiana by Mark Robinson and Rex Miller in 2004. Robinson, a singer-songwriter-guitarist, teamed up with Miller, a singer-songwriter-drummer, to write, perform and record this project. Both musicians have a long history as sidemen in blues, funk, rock and R&B bands-- but neither had done a lot of writing, singing or fronting a band. The CD was released just as Robinson moved from Bloomington IN to Nashville TN, where he is a working musician. But along the way, Miller and Robinson formed a band called the Kookamongas. The Kookamongas are a fun, party band that mostly plays old rock and roll, blues and dance music of all kinds. The Kookamongas are a popular band in clubs and private parties in the midwest.

MRRM was never made widely available, only sold at gigs. the release of this CD on CD Baby, iTunes and other digital distribution channels marks it's first real release. Mark and Rex hope that people enjoy their home-made project, and that the Kookamongas will be able to capture their energetic performing style on a recording soon.
