Notes

Hi, My name is Dezu.. I am American born of Hungarian decent. I have been a professional musician for the last forty years .. I have toured most of this country and parts of Canada in countless bands. I made four records in the 80's that went nowhere.. Some bites .. nothing real. My dreams of rock stardom quickly vanished . : ) . I have been teaching guitar for the last twenty years and love every minute of it. I have learned so much from my students and learning songs for them. Tunes I would have never learned just for myself. All songs have value, always something to be learned. So, after all these years of writing and playing songs for everyone else it is time for me to write an album for me.. What I like to listen to. Here it is " colors " my first instrumental rock album.. No singers.. no band .. and all the things that go along with those two things.. Just me..and a fellow teacher and friend played drums.. Another friend played bass on three songs. Another friend played an orchestrated arrangement on one tune.. I played all guitars , bass and percussion .. Kept all the personalities simple. If you are in a band you know what I mean : ).. This album is designed to sound good and feel good.. I love flowing melodies .. big fat open chords.. and killer solos. I am not trying to blow minds with complex composition or exceptional guitar virtuosity .. there is plenty of that out there.. All great stuff.. I just want you ( the listener ) to feel uplifted after listening to " colors " and hopefully want to listen again and again.. Dezu
