Lightning Tree formed by European guitarist Jonel Boljanac in 1996. Volume 1 displays many styles: Metal, Rock, Blues, Neo-Classical, European Folk, Middle Eastern & Shred. Band has been compared to Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Genesis, Dream Theatre, Yngwie Malmsteen, Ozzy, Gary Moore, Trans Siberian Orchestra & more.
The band is eclectic & cross many musical borders. For that reason this recording was released through independent channels. The philosophy of the band was "why be stuck in one style?" Over 2 years of recording went into making this one of a kind independent record.
