Notes

Originally released in 2002, "Clip" was the second and final official release from Lift (6) Eighteen. This digital re-release includes all 9 original album tracks plus the hidden track from the original pressing, "Standing On The Bank Of A River", penned and performed entirely by vocalist Jason Jacquin.

Also included here for the first time are 5 bonus tracks... these were taken from the band's first attempt at recording an album, 2000's "Broken". A staple of the live show, "Who Am I?" and it's extended intro, "Now", are presented as originally released on Broken, although live, the band rarely ever played the full "Now" intro. Usually, it was shortened to just the first three solo vocal lines when the song was played live. "Undone" and "Prison" also were both included in the band's live shows for some time after the "Broken" record was scrapped... they were among the first songs written by the band. "Prison" made use of a set of lyrics written by vocalist Jason Jacquin almost 2 years prior to his joining Lift (6) Eighteen, for an entirely different song... they just happened to fit this tune with minor changes to the words (the phrase "darkness dwelling devil hound" was changed to "towards the hell I've never found"), but sung to an entirely different melody. Also available here for the first time is "Who I Am", which was originally intended to book-end the record as a response to "Who Am I?", which (conjoined with "Now" as a single track) was originally slated to open the disc. Once "Trophy" was moved to the track 1 position, "Who I Am" was cut from the record and the live show for energy level reasons. While the band felt it was a good song, the general consensus was that it was too much of a slow groove to maintain the energy level live, and if it was being pulled from the live set, there was no reason to put it on the record as "filler".

"Broken" was originally released in December of 2000 as an 8 song, hand-assembled, home printed disc. Approximately 40 copies were sold, with perhaps another dozen made and given away, or kept by band members as keepsakes. In comparison, thier first official album - "Dubbed In Braille" - sold in excess of 4,000 copies, and saw somewhat limited national exposure, with "Wrong" being used in the soundtrack of episode 16 of MTV's then popular show "Real World/Road Rules Fantasy Challenge". The band went on to record a second album, "Clip", which recieved national college radio airplay and earned the band a few record label showcases before "musical differences" forced the group to disband in January of 2003. Currently there are no plans of a reunion show or any new recordings, although vocalist Jason Jacquin is currently busy playing bass in Revery, guitar in Vegas Alibis, and working on a solo record, due out some time in 2013.
