Notes
16 Brand New Songs and a STAR STUDDED CAST!
The list of songwriters and musicians from all over the globe is quite impressive: Bernie Taupin (Elton John), Marty Rifkin (Springsteen, Tom Petty, Dwight Yoakam), John West (Artension, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Royal Hunt), Mark Paladino (Tupac Shakur, Stevie Nicks, Billy Idol), Freddie Villano (Quiet Riot, Widowmaker), Ricky Kej (Grammy Nominated Producer), Ian Cameron (Grammy nominated Rumbadoodle), Nate Horton (Ten Man Push, Feinstein), Philip Charles Mackenzie (Star TV and movie actor and director), Jamie Otis (reality star Bachelor, Married at First Sight), Stephen Allen Davis (writer of many country hits including over 18 #1’s), international guitar phenomenon, Felipe Praino….and many more awesome contributors.
"The first time I heard Lonnie Park perform live, I was completely blown away by his undeniable talent. His charisma, stage presence, singing voice, and songwriting soar above and beyond, into the not often reached realm of real star power. It's no wonder that he is so popular. It is exciting following his career as his successes keep on multiplying before my eyes."
- Laura Sullivan, Grammy® Winning Composer & Recording Artist
“Almost Showtime” Highlights
Beyond the single track “Chasing Big Bucks”, stand outs on the album are: “Almost Showtime”, produced with the help of his friend and Nashville icon Rick Schell (Pin Monkey, Pure Prairie League, Steve Earle, Allison Moorer), “Girl Thing” (Stephen Allen Davis), and the world debut of “This American Trail” (Bernie Taupin/Mark Paladino/Lonnie Park).
Because of his versatility in a recording studio, he is the studio talent behind many artists from European prog-metal, new age, hip-hop, rap, gospel, to country and beyond. He works regularly with Ricky Kej, a music producer and writer from India. Ricky’s latest new age album held at #1 on Billboards charts for some time, and was subsequently nominated for a 2014 Grammy. Together, Ricky and Lonnie have become a popular team for commercial production for clients like Toyota, GE, and Wrogn.
Typically Lonnie Park performs over 200 shows a year and tours throughout the US and internationally. He is also a founding member of the band Ten Man Push which is best known as the Official Band of American Motocross, and whose music appears on many motor sport productions.
Almost Showtime brings together Lonnie’s experience as an engineer, songwriter, vocalist and producer. His musicianship is showcased as he played piano, guitar, harmonica, bass, banjo, percussion, orchestrated and arranged the strings, and programed the various hip hop elements of the album.
