Description
The cult 60/70s icon and progressive ambient 8-track art rock legend ART LLOYD-FREUD is back.
Notes
This album was made for the headphones! Famous sound engineer Alan "Headphones" Persson didn't try to lay his AKGs aside. The result is this opus, the new Art Lloyd-Freud album, widely acclaimed as THE album after the album after "THE ALBUM". Featuring not only ten new tracks and a coda - but "Pieces within a Radio Suite" - by cult 60ies/70ies icon ambient 8-track art rock legend Art Lloyd-Freud after their famous "This-Is Our-Death" album (1987) and "This-Is-Our-Final-Death" tour (1997).
"This album is not only about 'Radio Signals' and aeroplanes but also about flying people and 'their signals'", as Roger Gilliams, famous singer/songwriter of Art Lloyd-Freud, puts it.
Paul McArty says this is "the greatest digitally remastered new Studer 8-track album of all times, including the 60s".
It's psychedelic! It's cool! It's art. It's mega. It's about electro smog! It has so many sounds in it!! And it's brand new!
"Recording it was pure joy." FK
"I still can hear a hiss." AP
"If you like 'The Spinal Tap' you'll like this, too" RG
Performed by Art Lloyd-Freud
Written and produced by Frank Krieger
Engineered and mixed by Alan 'No Dolby' Persson
Recorded and mixed at Studio V2 Röhrensound Berlin, Germany, March 2005
