Reviews:

"Ray, you're so talented. If I were on my way to heaven this is what I would like to hear. When I am having a bad day this is what I play as it takes me on a journey away from the pain, it's very calming and soothing. My whole family has listened to it and they fell in love with it as I did. I treasure this great gift you have sent me."
Much Love, Eve - California

"Ten pieces of varying rhythms and tempos, percussion like you may never have experienced, woodwinds, strings, voice harmonies. Relaxing sounds, some mellow, some with a faster pace. Very different, very good. Live long and prosper after enjoying this innovative music."
Carol - Florida

More about the artist:

Ray Caspri has a strong and varied history in both performing and composing. In 1985, Ray played guitar with Paul Todd and Linda Edwards (now known as Linda Eder). In 1987, he played guitar, banjo, and violin with the Bogus Brook Band, and in 1989, Ray brought his guitar, banjo, violin, and bass talents to the Ali Randal show. During this time, he developed the stage names Moony and Moonman and wrote and recorded his first album "Quiet Night." After Ray was introduced to Leo Kottke in 1988, he was inspired to pursue playing solo acoustic guitar, and six years later, Ray delivered a full length performance which was filmed and aired only once.

In 1990, Ray met Mark Arneson, who quickly introduced him to Big George Jackson, and a long-standing friendship was forged. During this period, Ray assumed the stage name June Hornsbee and was affectionately called June-Bug by George and the band. Ray collaborated with George Jackson on the album "Serious Bidness" and went on to write and perform with George over the next nine years. Ray and Mark Arneson worked together from 1993 to 1997 to record many artists, including the well-known producer and performer, Ricky Peterson.

When Ray joined Paul Todd once again in 1996, they performed throughout the central states. In Albany, New York, Ray and Paul collaborated to score and play music for the stage play, "A Christmas Carol" starring Wilford Brimley at The Egg.

After some time away from music, Ray's latest work, “Vulcan Music - Ti'Valka'ain ralash-tanaf,” is surely his most innovative effort to date. Composer, songwriter, and performer, Ray Caspri is known for his abiding sincerity in all his works.
