Kyan is a voice crying out in the wilderness…his voice speaks for itself. The songs on this album are like a breath of fresh air..very beautiful.
Notes
Kyan’s musical direction may have been genetically ordained. His father was a minister in the local church in Ritchies, Clarendon and his other siblings, most notable Desmond, have all followed the musical call. At age nineteen he headed to Bootcamp Studio in Kingston, to record his first single.
His first song "Freedom" which was produced by Paul “Computer Paul” Henton, became an anthem and received rave reviews on both local and international airwaves. His video followed thereafter and suddenly the face of Kyan was introduced worldwide. It was soon followed up by “No More”. In 2007 he released" Wretched Woman", produced by Yvad Davy, a great talent & close friend of the family, that features Raging Fyah and Dean Frazer on horns. Kyan’s latest 2013 releases include “Count Your Many Blessings” and ”Love Is In The Air” on his brother Ras Meishak’s T7 Production label .
