First of all get those dirty little thoughts out of your head..... "Naked and Underneath the Covers" is just a metaphor. Then again maybe I should say it's the best metaphor, concerning relationships of an intimate nature. Too often some may find themselves in the quandary of needing to reveal just enough of them to keep the love alive, while never conceding to absolute vulnerability. Lee Nelson takes you on a fantastic voyage of lyrical truth, and musical gratuity.
From "Pretender" - A driving, progressive rock jam, with a message of a forgiving and yet forbidden love; Stands out as a surefire chart topper.
To “Thinkin’ ‘Bout You” – A blues power ballad, with sexy though extremely powerful vocals; reminiscent of Bob Seger.
Although the entire album is written and performed by Lee Nelson, he is accommodated on vocals by a couple of up and coming starlets. “You Never Know” features Amanda Curiel, a smooth songstress, with jazzy riffs and intricate vocal inflections. “Keep It Real” features Liz Wiemken, whose sultry, melodic tones linger in your soul. The chemistry between the artists is simply inviting to the listeners.
