Notes
After thirty years as a practicing eye surgeon, I retired and began to study piano with a remarkable musician and teacher named Jason Martineau. I had been writing songs, some pop, some romantic, some jazz, some show tunes, for as long as I can remember. Being a realist, I switched gears with Jason from piano to composition and orchestration, and a collaboration called "Soul Symphony" was born. Piano, violin, orchestra. Many have described the moods as filmic. Cinematic.
