ABOUT KERSTEN STEVENS
Kersten Stevens is a very special violinist whose sound is fresh, incredible and undeniable sensational! Described as anointed, sensational and passionate, Kersten is a graduate of Yale University with a BA in Music and African American Studies. Her musical journey began at the age of three with classical studies and developed into the professional performance of jazz and gospel at age fourteen. Kersten has been blessed to open for President Barack Obama, the legendary Ray Charles, Denzel Washington for the National Boys and Girls Clubs, and has performed with world-renowned jazz violinist and her mentor Regina Carter. She has twice taken Showtime at the Apollo by storm, winning competitions in 2003 and 1999! Kersten has been honored to share in ministry with churches large and small across the country and has excelled from a local star in Stratford, Connecticut to a national buzz-worthy artist.

In December 2011, Kersten celebrates her new, highly anticipated album: INSPIRE ME. Met with the best of gospel’s finest producers and musicians (see below), InspireME is an original album that will inspire listeners to reach for their dreams!
