Sir name" Kevin Dean Hansen" AKA "Kevin Damm Hansen", is all about performance....writing and recording is fun but the performance is what he lives for..He has performed for over 35 years and has been a hired gun drummer and backup singer for musicians, Joe Stoddard, Jesse Ruggles, Melody Guy, Jimmy Bivens, Jay "Bird" Koder, Todd McPherson, Ray Taylor, Jeff Labansky and many many others. He also fronts his own band J.R. & Th'FARM playing rhythm guitar and singing lead vocals. He won the battle of the bands 2007 at the "Ponderosa lounge" in Portland Or and also has a great FUN band called the "Spicious Brothers" that has been added to the copulation disc of the late great "Buddy Blue" guitarist of famed band "The Beat Farmers" with their version of Buddy’s song "Drunk Again"...Rhythm, Harmony, Peace and family are also his main focus, He has appeared in national magazine ads and was a extra in "Sean Penn’s" motion picture "Call of the Wild".
As a song writer he received local air play and was once backed by "Barrie James Wilson" aka BJ Wilson, of international fame band "Proco Harem" until his demise in 1990, He had his song "Nine Dollars to Hollywood” added to the International Pop over throw Disc Vol 9 in 2006 and won first place in Chevrolets car add contest for "Song most played" in 2008.Still writing, still performing, still alive and well, be sure and catch him when you can at one of his limited appearances. Performing solo or backing up an act you will know Kevin Damm Hansen is in the house.... , He also is a direct descendent of John Adams Sr whose son, John Adams, campaigned against George Washington and lost, became our first vice president and then later became our second president, his son John Quincy Adams later became our 6th American president so who knows what the future will hold..lol…Buy his music, live his music, there will be NO disapointment!
