The year after RELEASED FROM THE HEART’s release, Kerri offers another original solo piano CD. Passionate and very reflective, the tracks, once again, offer a glimpse into life. “Dawn at Crab Meadow” written about all the sunrises she viewed as a native New Yorker at this Long Island beach, “Where I’m From” transposing keys yet keeping an intact melody, just as people move but bring pieces of each location with them as they go, “Part of the Wind” an experience in a hot air balloon during sunrise and Kerri could not wait to sit at the piano and write what that experience would sound like in a melody, “Hate to Say Goodbye” a poignant theme, “Blueprint for My Soul” the tentative yet growing belief that some things are just part of the blueprint…these tracks are soul-stirring and this album is often used, as each of her instrumental albums, in day spas for massage or in yoga or prayerful meditation.
