If you've lived life for any time at all, you're going to get kicked around some. You might even get a little chip on your shoulder. That's where these songs come from. Even the love songs ( yeah, there are 2 or 3) are just a little cynical. In terms of influences, everyone who has heard this CD says the music reminds them of somebody... but they all think it sounds like somebody different. There are many, many influences (think '60s Top 40); some buried and some right out on my sleeve.
Crisp and punchy with a very "live" feel. It's just four guys in a room.
