Notes
Announcing Keith's debut release as a leader, Mirrored Response! An engaging collection of 11 tunes (8 instrumental and 3 vocal) ranging from R&B, jazz, world music, with a dash of funk. Mirrored Response is artistic yet accessible, relaxing yet energizing, and definitely a very fun listen! Seven original compositions are rounded out with four fresh interpretations of classic songs, including Sting's "Fragile", Stevie Wonder's "Have a Talk with God", Bill Withers' "Lean On Me", and the beloved hymn "Be Thou My Vision". Features stellar cameos by Robben Ford (Yellowjackets), Luis Conte, Anthony Evans (The Voice), Bryan Duncan, Alfie Silas, Norm Stockton, Tony Guerrero and more.
"I love hearing players interacting and responding to each other. There's something exciting and creatively inspiring about that organic interplay. This project pays homage to what I love about '70s music (when bands commonly recorded that way) while taking full advantage of today's technology. I'm so excited to share this music with you! We had such a great time creating it for you and I believe you can hear that in our playing. I hope you find the music both invigorating and inspiring. Thanks for listening!" Keith Felch
