This album has been in the making for 2 years. It is the debut release and is a collaboration between Graham Coles & Craig Newton from Adelaide, South Australia. Recording this CD has tested us and pushed us past our own perceived limitations. Learning more and growing as musicians. We as songwriters and musicians are extremely proud of the outcome and finish of this recording. We have also had the chance to play with some amazing talented musicians; that will as time goes by, will become more prominent in the world of music. many thanks to Dave Lokan, Mat Way, Kym Griffiths and Stuart Coles.
Craig has had 20 years music experience with other bands including Firepower and released numerous CD's and played countless gigs.
Graham has concentrated more on recording / writing over the years than the live performance.
The blend of these 2 distinctly different musicians and experiences has forged a sound that is unparalleled to any other.The dedication and passion has been paramount in this recording. Staying true and honest to the music and ourselves as musicians.
The aim of the album was to present a Journey of life that many people could connect with by using our own experiences, thoughts and inspirations. This idea evolved of its own fruition into the 12 tracks that are now available.
We believe the title "Searchin'" provides the theme for the album. We also do not proclaim that we have all the answers. That is all part of the unique and individual journeys everyone has as is this album.
We hope that people who listen to this album will connect with aspects of it and have some true meaning for them and their own life experiences.
