kisskillmary's debut release, "labyrinth" takes you on an emotional journey of how music has inescapably changed the lives of its band members and hopefully its listeners as well. The journey starts with a heart-thumping-guitar-jarring-bass-heavy crescendo that builds the base of what the album is about - that it comes straight from the heart; the journey of trying to be different but discovering that all is repetitive and is all about the same; being afraid of what's ahead but at the same time discovering life's pleasures; making decisions that brings about consequences and at the end realizing that not everything is what it seems to be. The journey experienced by the music it expresses takes you through a labyrinth which leads you through a single, non-branching path, which leads to the center then back out the same way, with only one entry/exit point. it's simple and it's not as complicated as you think it is.
