This album is a blend of kirtan, hip-hop, poetry and melody. It is a moving and uplifting expression of determination to join with one another and with God.
Notes
Tim Carter was a son, brother, and friend to many. Before his passing he was engaged with many artists and musicians to share inspiration, enthusiasm, and devotion through music. Although he was unable to bring all of these various projects to completion, Gopinatha, presents a cohesive compilation of this music as a complete album dedicated in honor and memory of our dear friend. The finished product includes songs that feature Tim as a composer and musician, as well as a few more songs composed and recorded by some of his closest friends and companions in memory of him. The album us accompanied by a booklet featuring the song lyrics, art that Tim loved, and photographs of Tim.
