Description

A Collection of the best Philippine love songs recorded by Jun Polistico (Philippines famous balladeer).

Notes

Jun Polistico began his recording career with a version of the Dennis Lambert song, “Ashes to Ashes.” Much to everyone’s surprise, Jun’s single took off on the sales charts and gave Lambert a good run for his money. At that point, a star was born. A gifted performer who made each and every Filipino proud to be a Filipino.

And as success breeds success, other Polistico hits followed. “Feelings” turned out into a bigger hit and was soon superceded by “You will be my Music”. Each succeeding release surpassed the previous and Jun found himself on top of the Philippine music world.

This Cd, his first collection of Pilipino love ballads has outsold all his previous releases. In this album, he was able to popularize “Mahiwaga” written by the late Don Manolo Villar , has reached a milestone not only to the music aficionados but also was chosen by the Catholic Churches and different religious organizations to include in their
Ceremonies.
A glowing testimonial to the fact that despite a one-year absence from the country touring the USA as lead singer for the Society of Seven (popular group based in Honolulu,Hawaii), the man with the golden voice has managed to retain his vaunted drawing power.
Here then, is a collection of the hits that made Jun Polistico a Philippine household word. It’s been a long way from Leyte to Las Vegas, but one listening to this record is all you need to agree that talent can bridge that distance. And Jun Polistico is a name that spells T-A-L-E-N-T.
