9 Red Sun is known for their catchy melodies, clever lyrics, and energetic live show. Their music is a blend of pop, rock, new wave, and punk. Think Blondie with Foo Fighters guitars and Beatles harmonies. Spin raves, "Power-pop at its finest!" Songwriting is a major focus of 9 Red Sun, earning them awards from such industry giants as VH1, Billboard, and the John Lennon Song Contest. Billboard describes lead singer, Natalia Bortolotti, as "a master of songcraft with the vocal chops to match." Their songs are regularly featured in film and television, including MTV, VH1, and CW (formerly WB) networks.

Formed by singer-songwriter Natalia, and guitarist-songwriter, Steve Sicular, 9 Red Sun has already accomplished more in a couple of years than most bands do in a decade. They've inked a deal with indie label Songfellowz, and have released three CD's to rave reviews, including their debut album, "Basking in the Shade," their live acoustic CD, "One Step Closer," and their latest release, "Perfectly Flawed."

9 Red Sun is currently filming a video for their hit radio single, "Growing Up In Public," directed by Simon Sommerfeld (Bigger than Texas Films). GFI Entertainment, a national booking agency, will be booking their upcoming college and club tour, with tour support, publicity and radio promotion.

The band has garnered the attention and interest of management, booking agencies, major and independent record labels, music publishers, music licensing companies, industry music conferences and festivals, local, regional, and national media, television & film licensing companies, and commercial, satellite, college, internet, and podcast radio.
