ALMOST GONE features the Buffalo New Music violinist Thomas Halpin, and 20 years later, GRENADINE, features Miranda Scoma, one of Mr. Halpin's
finest students. Dr. Craig Bove is a composer, guitarist and Professor of Music at Central Piedmont Community College. Joe Bacon is a guitarist/vocalist in
the alt rock band, Major Healy. Professor Bradley Amidon is Director of the Percussion Ensemble at Edinboro University in PA. Neil Kryszak is a composer and producer in New York.
GRENADINE was scored for the premiere of the Yale Drama Series-winning play by Neil Wechsler, directed by Scott Behrend for Road Less Traveled Theater in 2009. Scored for percussion, guitars, violin and harmonicas, this collection expanded the multiple similar instrument colors of reeds, percussion and violin, whereas ALMOST GONE multiplied acoustic guitars, set against the dual soloists, violin and electric guitar.
