Nice modern sound:
The opening somewhat reminds me of a modernist view of plainchant really cool effect. This song is in no hurry to go anywhere but that's ok as it seems to constantly solidify the mood of a mix between 20th century music and ancient polyphonic church choir styles. Very interesting piece I would certainly have to listen to it multiple times to catch all the little nuences well done!

Very nice piece...
I was surprised when I actually heard a song in this category that was classical. There are very few in this category that are actually classical and the ones who are are are being beat out by country, ambient, and other misplaced genres, which is sad. I really enjoyed this composition and it's great use of dynamics. This piece has a very familiar, yet orignal sound with well mixed instruments. I liked the use of operatic voice/wind instrument sounds but would have like to hear a little more variation in the vocal melody. The song provides a nice variety of instruments and percussion to really keep the listener engaged. The song also has an overall somber feel, but accented with moments of intensity which really do well to propell the song forward. This reminded me of a Wagner sort of sound. Haunting.
Haunting harmonies. Sounds like underground 1760s music. Whoa, that cello or whatever it is hits some weird unexpected notes - I like that a lot. The organ backed with the vocals is very cool.
This is very refreshing to hear. It is unfocused in a good way. Here the experiment worked out.
This might sound like film music to some but I believe it can stand on its own. Thank you for this. I

Dramatic
I'd consider this more ambient than classical...although I love the changes...it is a quite dramatic piece...a lot of changes crammed into 3:55...love the horns...the only thing I would do is double or triple the violin making it stronger...but a very well done piece...thank you for the music..

Strong Intro

Beautiful to start with
I sounds like a mix between eastern and western music cultures . The presence of the organ is quite atonishing but it is difficult to appreciate the form in a first listening so there are several original ideas in this piece. The instrumentation is good. This band is looking for new paths even if tonality is not so far. The strings instruments are doing a very fine performance. The arrangement is good. The appearance of the trumpet is a very good musical idea.

a forest, the jungle, egypt...
lost in traslation...abrupt atmospheric hallucination muliply by a life existence and attached to somthing you can never lay your finger on...I heard this in a movie once...my growth was then stunted...
I know somthing doesn't sit right in the stomach of the review gone wrong...subsided from myself let me say i didnt mean to pick classical music....
but i enjoy it...take that grasp of epic perportions...and show the world...love...just show love....

Very original
Quite a grandiose composition!! Interesting arrangement. iIdo wish that some instruments
returned towards the end again. At the beginning there seemed to be an instrument that sounded like a traditional stringed chinese instrument. it would have been nice to hear it again.

Odd but good
Weird choice of tone - especially for the vocal sounding tone,..sometimes it sound slike an erhu, or some asian type of bowed instrument, then other times it sound slike a voice. I cant make out what it is. This goes thru many different convolutions and permutations, from a baroque style to a modern classical style. It is very film music'ish and I think it is actually pretty epic. This creates a nice texture and nice feel through out. Great work.

Picturesque
I think this has a great mood. I enjoy the melody and think it is very strong. At first I thought it was going to have a eastern sound which in some way it does. But it has very hollywood film written all over it. I think the orchestration is very fitting. I would have liked to have heard just one section that had a simpler melody line just to balance the wonderful changes that take place. The build up at the end is done very well. I love it dark:
I have been waiting to hear something like this. it is so dark and creepy. I love it! I love the layered strings with pipe organ hauntingly supporting them in the background. Those strings are sampled very well...unless they are real. The voicings are good for samples and work well; don't sound too fake. I feel that the brass takes away from it just a little bit...maybe not even worth mentioning. Arrangement is good along with the feel of it. Good job.

Ok I am speechless! This is so good that I don't know what to say. It suggests a lot of moods/ situations too. It has a lot of Asian music references...took me to the " Silk Road, and perhaps a scene from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The Er-hu, a Chinese bowed instrument, sounds so beautiful here. Actually the mixture of western and oriental instruments and musical styles is so convincing. The balance and the mixing are very professional too.

conceptual
I dig this right out of the gate- it's broad on a conceptual scale and isnt typical in any respect. It's reminicient of Eric Serra's score for the movie "The Fifth Element" and I think you have managed to create an interesting tapestry of audio soundscape. I can't really knock this. It's well done and I think successful. Epic in scope. One question though- are you using roland Synthesis? sound

Great Mood!

Let me start by saying that this song was beautiful. It was a completely relaxing piece and I like the samples at the beginning and end. This song probably won't recieve as good of reviews as it deserves due to the length of the intro and nature of the piece. This is in no way a criticism of the music but I'm sure that many people won't take the time to listen past the first 90 seconds. That

Don't you love soundtracks?
Ok I am speechless! This track is so good that I don't know what to say. It suggests a lot of moods/situations too. First it starts off like when a movie starts with the main title showing (gotta love that "warp" effect). It has a lot of Asian music references... took me to the Silk Road, and perhaps a scene from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The Er-hu, a Chinese bowed instrument, sounds so beautiful here. Actually the mixture of western and oriental instruments and musical styles is so convincing. Excellent montage of sounds. I can see a lot of high-quality sample libraries of orchestral instruments are used here. The balance and the mixing are very professional too. Truly an orchestral psychedelic trip!

the intro keeps you guessing where it's going to go,but you choose to stay on the laid back side and it pays off....that is anice build in for where you go ..the accents on the drum programs really highlight the 2nd phase ..going back to the voice thing from the intro and breaking it back down was good move ...the vocals are atmospheric and really fit the song (although i'm fairly sure they are just samples)

Industrial Heaven
A very interesting mood is created on the start of this track with bells pads and strings. And I think that will be the pattern for this swirling cauldron of sound. At 1.37 its almost meditation music but then a beat comes in complete with timpani and takes the track to a whole new level.

ethereal spooky
the beginning is film noirish. i am digging the samples of the crowd and the female "alright". then it sgets really ethereal and it sounds enlightening like it was written for a sci fi movie or fantasy picture. it has organic almost tribal elements with the timpani and the female voices are used sparingly then the alright comes back at the end. this song engaged me like a good short story from intro to climax.

ambient noise rules
I like the beggining alot. Makes me feel like I am at an insane carnival from my nightmares. This track is very relaxing. Everything flows nicely and comes in at just the right places. That blows my real player just messed up in the middle of the song....this saddens me cause it was a great song. Ill just have to check it out later. Keep up the good work.

International
This is a very claming and medatative track. It has a wonderful blending of the different cultural instruments and stylings, into a national ambiguity that we call the world. Excellent job in the tight mix, the levels were set for good distinction, and had a very rich and textured sound. I do wonder about the 'live' feel addition to it, but no matter it doesn't distract from the piece as a whole. It's a nice journey that you've put out.

Step aside Hans Zimmer: Cool, the vocalist has a few flashes of Lisa Gerrard, and the second half of the track is in true adventure movie fashion (remember Gladiator?). The guitars in the intro sound awesome, and the classical turn in the second half is well arranged. And once again, the vocals bring out the ambience in the song.

***** - Monumentally epic. Very smooth and attention commanding opening, very similar at first to "Mortal combat" with the reverse-ish cymbal. The guitar sounds phenomenal. The whole song at this point reminds me of something I might hear at a Cirque du Soleil show (I'm in around 1:00). It's very mysterious and dark, sort of suspenseful, with the synth zooming in and out, the very soulful vocalist belting out "oh's!". At around 2:00, the mood shifts..and there's a lightness in the organ sounding break, which metamorphosizes into a violin sound smoothly...building and building, then coming into a horn section (which at first sounds like the line from the song in the movie "close encounters"). Building futher, into a cacaphony of choral-like singing and a flaoist. Then back to our original vocalist (the soulful one). This is a beautifully arranged piece. It's got a ton of elements that are brought together in a remarkably able fashion, and I'm in admiration of the composer. It's epic. While this isn't something I'd likely hear on the radio, it's epic, as I said, and easily something I could picture as a soundtrack/soundstage track. It's got ridiculous production, ridiculous arrangement and by ridiculous I mean awesome. ***** - Not a complaint in the world... Wonderful work. Best of luck!

Sexy intro: Nice guitar intro...until 1:54 I felt like I was watching a movie where the main character died. I felt the rain...it was dark... a woman was weeping on her knees. The feeling then went from sorrow to wonder. She then was standing on a cliff in the sun with her hair blowing in the breeze. Sorry, back to the basics...Great production, instrumentation, arrangement and over all sound. Excellent transitions. Music is supposed to create feeling and you did a wonderful job doing that! Lonely night on the streets and then....? ...80s rock is making and comeback and here it is, in your face. Very Bon Jovi beginning, I am in the electronic section, correct?
The intro feels like a story is about to be told, something about a cold night in the city. And then...At 1:30 am wondering where we are headed as the woman sings. At 1:56 i am lost, is that a full orchestra? At 2:11 I completely lose it and at 2:35 there are horns and at 2:45 there is a
choir. How did you make this song?!!!! I am really lost, what is this exactly? At 3:45 I feel like I have fallen onto broadway, in the middle of a major revelation in the story line. Very dramatic but what is going on here. Ok, this song is so well put together, I cant get over it. I have no idea what just happened but it is seamless. Your production is great, I think every one should listen to this song and see how the elements come together. It is very movie soundtrackish, but that is because of the grand sounds. This takes you on a trip through the decades of all sorts of very diverse musical genres..heavy metal, the lonesome cry of South american moods, and finally a most characteristic and powerful voice emerges, backed by a frail keyboard-tune..and the sound of violins, too...sounds like an entire orchestra...very high-strung, kitsch, and dramatic. This sounds very much like an epic movie soundtrack song, and does it good. The first part with the electric guitar sounds a bit too much like it was taken out of beverly hills, but when the vocals come in at about 1:20 things get better. A nice buildup turns into a very soft part at about 2:00 which then gets better and better until it really becomes great when the trumpet (or what it is) comes in at 2:30. From there on it's fantastic, with a lovely mood that could've been taken from the LoTR soundtrack. Very good work on that part.

Sounds like another Gladiator theme
For some reason i picture this song being play during Gladiator or Alexander or one of those style movies. It sorta has a middle eastern feel, even though it sound very keltic too. I don't know where to place it exactly, but I like it.

Very celtic
I like the choice of the ethnic instruments here. The intro is omnious sounding which give a interesting lead in to the first theme area. The string arrangement has a wonderful timbre and is idiomatic! I'm not sure if the piece was meant to be so fragmented in the structure, with very abrupt transitions of sections. This gives it a Stravinsky-esque effect, but overall the piece could be a little more unified formally.

Majestic
This sounds like a "big band" piece, but still manages to pull off the serene feeling of a relaxing piece. Great job in the post-production; this must have taken time.

MUST BE RICH?
How else could somebody afford to bring in an entire symphony orchestra? Well, they probably didn't, but it sure does sound like it. The first theme and variation is simple, yet haunting. Nice percussion ensemble and well programed. Strings sound so real it scares me. 2nd theme with the vocal, chorus and brass choir just slam dunks this arrangement into the next level. Sounds a little list Holst or RVW (I love that). I have to assume that this is all by plugins, but after listening to the piece three times I still can't point to a spot where it is proven that a keyboard is controlling things. Composer definitely has a good command of orchestration. Sign me up for lessons!

With this song, I see...
I love reviewing the classical stuff because it leaves so much to the imagination. With this song I see the orient..allthough it's obviously got european influence. Overall, a very well done piece of music. It does a great job of setting up a dark and haunting mood, and then keeps that going solidly through the whole piece, without ever becoming repetitive or boring. The music progresses through a lot of changes, but all the transitions are very smooth and it all makes sense. Great arrangement on the orchestration. The color of all the instruments blend very well, nothing overpowers anything else, but everything can be heard in the mix. A nice haunting melody that holds our interest without being flashy, it fits perfectly in the mood of this song. And great use of percussion to keep the tune moving while maintaining the tense mood of the piece. Also, the choir voices fit in very well and added a lot of color to the overall mix. I am sure it is all done on synths/samplers, but if so, it is very well done. The voices, strings, brass, percussion all sound very real. The only criticism I would have, is that the overall volume of the production is too low. I had to turn way up to hear it (a common problem here on GB), but when I did, the production sounded very good. Well done.

Great orchestration:
I like the intro with the timpany. The percussion really stays tight throughout. The vocals sound synthesized, but they sound good. Is this all synthesized? I guess it is, but you have some good synths. Great sequencing, has a very classical sound. I can see this being a score for a film. Somewhat John Williams--very cinematic and dramatic.

Fugue for thought
Actually, occasionally "fugue-like" in construction...but not really. Wonderfully intricate musical conversations here. Imaginative and inspiring. Flowing changes spinning in and out of musical textures. Excellent use of synth sounds here. A piece where it sounds like each note was placed with intent for effect and purpose. minimalist influance
This piece really seems to be driven by melody and the use of counterpoint. I can hear a nice mix of minimalist techniques along with of some use of concepts from the Romantic era. This kind of reminds me of John Adams. Your harmonic progression are what really remind me of Strauss or some other Romantic composer. However, it is this kind of dramatic harmony that makes this sound like it should be a movie score or something. I like the fact that you have a few different contrasting sections to keep the listener interested. Overall, I really like this piece (especiall the opening 'minimalist' section in the strings) I hope you continue to develop your ideas.

Noble/Dynamic/Restless ....
piece with strings,brass,piano,percussion accents and surprise elements(the type of sweeps and swells you might hear in a classic movie score). The music is restless. In the 1st 60 seconds it works it's way from single cello to full orchestra crescendo, changing gears in the 2nd minute to an existential yet noble steady meter string progression which again keeps getting stronger and fuller before falling away to the start of movement #3 at 2:25. This is a movement featuring solo stringed and brass instruments in various textures with dynamic starts and stops. The finale 3:20 revisits movement #2 more forcefully with percussion accents, a surprise sweep dynamic 3:44 and vocal harmonies to end on. That was the general blow by blow but the impact of this piece is impressive. It compacts a trainload of harmonic/virtuoso ideas,dynamics and execution into just over a 4 minute composition !

“A revelation! - Superb! - A Requiem for everyone who has an inclination to film music or the symphonic genre! Here we are presented with an almost purely symphonic work created on a computer by a very musical individual.”


It is clear that Bjarne O. doesn't want his listener to fall asleep! On this delightful album there is splendid alternation between forces with opposing directions - tension/release - disharmony/ harmony, with the weight centered within the harmonic spectrum!


It's a matter of structure that brings to mind the classical Requiem, and with titles such as "Hosanna", "Gloria's sky song" (the 'Gloria' response), and "Prayer" the allusion is clear! But that's not sufficient because we may certainly also use our wits and listen to the texts: for example, "Always thinking of you" where an "Eleison" (have mercy on us) is sung.


We find ourselves within a very freewheeling universe where there is room for all allusions and references. Thus, "Bach and Forth", the humorous Johan Sebastian clone! In "Rebild Hills Suite" there must be a faint allusion to Star Wars in the opening theme.


And then there are the beautiful, spiritual passages such as those in "Sad Song". - Here, I must say that if it's possible for a person to master such a delicate expanse of resonant sounds so tenderly and carefully together with brilliant vocal samples, and then in addition, to vary the themes with this choice of instruments (harp, piano, strings and additional chorus), not even to mention the conclusion itself - well, then it's a question of being in a class all its own!


All things considered, the album's final numbers have a quite extraordinary beauty in my ears. Here it's a matter of joyful release. And this the listener definitely can look forward to!


In the final number, "Comba Li La", we get a demonstration of how it's possible to utilize a syncopated native chorus with triplet handclaps in counterpoint rhythm. Bravo! Again, the orchestration is brilliant. I just love that piano. I feel like shouting out to everyone: "Listen to this album - and hear that this can be done!


With this album release, Bjarne O. has truly succeeded in creating something unique. Masterful joy of composition - completely overwhelming love for this musical genre - this album radiates with light!! A masterpiece!
Atmospheric intro, you understand this is not a "common song" since the very 1st notes. Excellent the vocal additions. Reminds me of the David Arkenstone production, with a tip of Jean Michel Jarre, both for the sounds and for the orchestration/arrangement. Delicious, with "tapping" strings, trombones, percussions... A kid voice it may recall "The lord of the rings" soundtrack and the excellent "Braveheart" style flutes of James Horner (or, better, Michael and Jeff Danna's style, which is even better). A masterpiece!

A Real Composer.
An electronic vox pad eases in, laying a bed for a femal vocal sounding melody. A rich vox & Pitz textured section moves in. The female comes back with what sounds like latin frases. I took a chance in this genera, because I don't like much electronic music, although I write a lot of it. But this is truely well done orchestration, electronic or not. It takes a real composer to understand the instruments he works with, so as to use then to their full potential. This is a real composer. Hats Off Bro.

Beautiful.
This song opens with stunningly beautiful operatic, slightly electronically treated female vocals, orchestral swirlings and an epic, open feel.
There are sprinkings of flute that remind me of the title track from the film 'The Titanic', which I
happen to like, so all is well.
There are understated, yet over blown full orchestral swells throughout, which are breathtaking. This is slow and ambient, yet stunningly epic at the same time, creating a dreamy, filmscape mood of sunsets and vast oceans.
It's an exercise in mood and musical imagery and would work very well as a film soundscape. The production and arrangement is pristine and to a very high standard.
I drifted away and forgot my worries for a while and for this, I thank the artist profusely...

Beautiful
I really like the beginning. It is instantly appealing and moving, the sounds sweeping and grandiose. The vocal is fantastic, deep, lush and beautiful. There is a strong orchestral feel which gives the song a touch of distance regions, and has that transportive movie soundtrack feel. World beats at its best!
Oooh, I love that beat! It's like a fusion of modern Western and African.
The vocalist is an absolutely perfect match for the tone of the song, and the underlying sample is so totally ethnic that it just couldn't be any better. The transitions are powerful yet smooth. That's not something you hear too often.


Overall this is a vey powerful world-beat/ambient track. I know how difficult it is to meld this kind of fusion but it has been done masterfully here.


It's not often you come across a song that has such a full range of features, even in label-quality releases. Full bassline, keyboards, effects, strings, vocals, samples and such a full ambience that you can't decide which part of the sound to focus on. This is definitely release-quality. Congratulations on a top-notch production!

Ticket to a Magical Place
A short lead-in of hand drums and THE voice enters -- a female voice at once plaintive and seductive, with an edge of anger sometimes drifting into tired resignation. It took three listens to realize that the lead vocalist never sings -- her speaking voice is so melodic and emotionally nuanced. Behind her beautifully recorded voice, rhythmically clapping hands mix with a call-and- response African chorus. Above her voice soars an ephemeral soprano reminiscent of prayer calls from a minaret. Deep beneath the vocals, a richly-bowed bass lays a ominous track, lending a fearful unease of impending doom worthy of John Williams' score for Jaws.


This richly layered mix brings in synths sounding like piano, orchestral strings, vibes and church bells before ending with a few bars of squishy synth, serving to bring the listener back in place and time -- a final flourish before letting go. Bringing all these elements together into a smooth, cohesive unit is a tour de force. The production values are top notch.


I'm unable to recognize the language (or languages) of the lead vocalist and sadly my multilingual wife is fast asleep. At times I think I hear French, Swahili, Japanese, Italian and Portuguese. My best guess is a patois of a former French colony in Africa -- perhaps Mauritania or Senegal (flaunting my provincial ignorance).


The song on first listen seemed repetitious, but paradoxically on repeated listens becomes hypnotic and frightfully compelling. By the last time through, I found it difficult not to play one more time and let the song retake me to this all-too-real place carved out palpably from the musical spheres.


In a span of less than five minutes the song carries a mixture of fear, joy, community, isolation and even whimsy. On careful examination, the song becomes an epic novel, with plot and revelation and resolution.

Electro-world orchestra
The vocal line is interesting and deliciously introduces this catchy, groovie song. The indian voice (I believe it speaks indian or african, but I don't understand what language is it) well fits the unquieting, interesting melodic line. Very successful eclectic instrumentation.
Vocals are appealing, beats and chorus that fades in are very nice. Production and mix is very good. The low bowed strings add tension and intrigue to the mood. Don't speak this language, can't identify the language (Creole?) but it is well suited to the mood and instrumentation. This combines eclectic modern instrumentation with organic world music very successfully, this is not and easy blend to achieve.
The vocals both sung and spoken are excellent.

If Aaron Copeland were alive today...
... he might write something like this! Terrific use of orchestral samples in a classical-dance setting. And we aren't talking just strings either; this is full-on symphonic jazz, with rhythm to boot. Nice layering of the synth pads into the production, so that they become an undertone to the orchestra rather than being out front.


The vocal samples add a nice touch, but this leads to my only two complaints. The first one (the one that is saying "cross the sky" or something similar) is very pleasant, but it gets repetitive in the area between 3:50 and 4:20. And I would have left the second vocal sample out all together because of its being off the key of the song. A lot of dance music uses off-key elements to add interest, and it often works well, but here it clashes with the complex harmonies in the orchestra.


But those are minor complaints. The whole song is a wonderful fresh take on modern classical. This one is definitely going on my playlist.

Leonard Bernstein in the 23rd century
neat... intro, leonard bernstein in the 23rd century... there is a safari/epic/orchestra feel, with the bright vox over the dark wash with tension/intrigue, so I'm thinking this is Bjarne O. again because of that, and if it's not that's who you sound like. Stravinsky and Bjork for an original tune
What an interesting intro! A Stravinsky-style orchestra plays modern classic chords, soon followed by a catchy drumline, for a very original song that it shows a very mature eared artist! Ethnic percussions, "stravinsky" strings, timpani, cellos... And a Bjork-style voice!!! I think this genre may be considered experimental, but what a good experimental is it this! Matbe the 1st transition between the orchestra and the voice is a bit "rough" when you 1st listens to this song, but the general impression is positive, structure is interesting, and great, alternative female voice. The background choir is amazing, and even if the main vocal line is a bit obsessive (a bit shorter would be perfect), this song has many different styles, a melange of originality that maybe not everybody will appreciate. But i do!!! Good job!

Electric orchestra finely tuned
Slow, classic music-style intro, for what a progressive electronic opera. The structure is rich and interesting, the instrumentation is impressive. I just love the "Morricone" soundtrack flavours of the percussions, of the tubular bells and of the strings add-ons. Chord and instrumentation use denote a mature ear and a wonderful taste. Somehow reminds me also of Mike Oldfield's best works (choirs are reminding me of some part of "the songs of the distant earth", a very good album), for the sound and for the mood/structure, which is a positive thing, I believe. Ready for The Silver Screen!
This song was enchanting....gripping from the beginning to the very end. A definite gem in contemporary world music. The mood is mysterious and adventurous with a sort of northern african flaire. Classic epic
I like the big industrial noises, quite dark from the offset and the vocals seem to back this up very well. The strings with the male vocals make it sound like this is some kind of epic battle, though due to my entirely non existent understanding of eastern languages I'm unable to tell whether this is the case. The arrangement is fantastic, very powerful build ups and very haunting vocals layered to perfection with great percussion work. The melodies are great, simple but very effective. It has a definite Bollywood feel, but more orchestral, I really enjoyed the amazing production values, Timpani rolls sounded completely and utterly real.. the electronic rhythm (808 drums) is a nice beat bed to lay the music over, gives it a quite modern cinematic feel.
The use of orchestral string washes are delicate and again, sound true! This is top quality cinema/world music. Definitely worth your time.

Great Orchestration, Soundtrack Music
Erie mood is effective. I think they could have been really brought to life by stronger pads on keys. The dark pads that start to swell in at :40 are really nice. At 1:00 the lower-frequency rolling sound
- whatever it is - really pops out and I love it! I really think this makes great soundtrack music - very intensely moody, layering of male vocal against group vocals is very nicely arranged. Strings are great, little bell elements and percussion builds after 2:00 do a nice job of bringing this to a climax.

Electronic Stravinsky
When you listen to this song, you know immediately you're not listening to a common artist. This
is an electronic orhcestra finely tuned and played, with a piece who reminds me of the best classic productions, with a good arrangement and a perfect orchestration. Deep and interesting as Stravinsky in the "Sagre de printemps", this is an amazing artist, indeed. I'll liosten to more, this for sure.

Elfman Sci Fi
This sounds like you used synclavier tones that were commonplace in the 1980s.. this isn't such a bad thing because you do it quite well..there also seems to be a tad bit of a Danny Elfman influence in there. No doubt, you have talent and definitely should be scoring movie soundtracks.


The arrangement and mix are top notch. The sequences are very well thoughtout. I am impressed to say the least! Superb work.

Something New
This track starts with a rather grandiose intro, feauturing big drums, pianos, brass, and other orchestral immitation sounds. It appears to have more of a classical progression and doesn't follow the overused regular song structures. This has more of a soundtrack feel to it. Zany - Classical - Electronica
Wow, crazy classical electronica thats perfect for a film score. Arrangement is pretty good with most of the instruments sounding like the real thing, only one or two sound a bit cheesy synth
( like the trumpet ), but there's a whole orchestra here and once they are all playing ( 2:50 ) it sounds excellent. Song structure is excellent, but you would expect that from someone attempting this kind of music. This has an excellent flow and takes the listener on a musical journey through space. Production is great with clear sounds and good mixing, some more panning would have been nice and added that "sitting there" feel to the whole track.
I really feel a little out of my depth here :) but i thought it was a great track and would be perfect for a camp, space-spy movie!
The Good:- Excellent arrangement and a very well written score
The Bad:- Its classical, so not everyones going to like it ... The Verdict:- Totally unexpected and very enjoyable.

Frodo, Lancelot, Willy Wonka, and that weird ..
Sounds like a song that came from a movie... except a collection of movies. I hear Lord of the Rings, slow strings... horns from King Arthur... bells from the Exorcist, banging drums from Aladdin and wonky FX from every disney movie. They combine in a way very original... and I think it works, especially when the rythmic drums kick in. I have no idea why this is in the electronic music section.
