A splash of holy sonic water
Dash of sweet root

Shake well and drag over rocks until truth is telecasted. Lift or pull until well mixed. Layer with less paul and serve hot.
About Pioneer Son
From just outside Westerberg, MN, Pioneer Son follows in the proud lineage of Minneapolis rock bands. Aaron Smith and Steve Tacheny spent their formative years in The Snozberries and share an infectious, festering love of harmony and overdrive. Tate Schoeberlein brings the heavy lumber, wielding a Bunyan-sized axe. Sir Christopher Hansen mans the helm of the rhythm ship and guides Pioneer Son into orbit.
About Shortly Thereafter
Their debut Shortly Thereafter showcases 13 original collaborations with Smith and Tacheny co-oping on guitars and vocals. With a nod to both Americana and Indie influences and a strong lean toward standard Rock, cuts from Shortly Thereafter revel in things gone awry, the many paths taken, stupid simple facts, and loves here and gone. "Inside Out" starts as a whisper on the edge of the woods and ends in a glorious tribute to the here and now. "Blame" proudly salutes our painfully endearing American history. "Behind You" celebrates the perfect vantage point.
