Notes
"Letting Go" started in 1999. It can be hard to let go. But 14 year later, we've run out of excuses for keeping this music to ourselves.
There's a wide variety of styles on this album and certainly not cookie-cutter music. You may notice an undertone of wariness toward relationships, but the album as a whole manages a positive outlook on the future and has fun despite some of the serious messages.
Each of the five band members sing at some point, though the bulk of the leads are Bret and Anna. Three different members play bass (two on guitars and one on keys) and two members play synths at some time or other. This flexibility kept it interesting for the band but also contributes to the variation on the album.
