Notes
I am a Professor of Geology at Colorado College and a life-long musician. I have played both acoustic and electric music, mostly guitars, since I was 10 years old. My first CD, released in 1994, entitled “Slipping out the Backdoor, Sneaking Down the Alleyway", was a mix of folk, blues and rock performed in both acoustic and electric modes. My second CD "Drove to Wichita" was released in 2008. It was recorded in Austin, TX and included the musicians Barry “Frosty” Smith on drums, Maryann Price, Derek Morris, and Mac McNabb.
I am proud to announce that after nearly five years of writing, recording, and production, my third CD "Love Takes Me" is finally completed!!
I recorded the CD in Austin, Texas in 2012. I wrote all of the songs, sang lead vocals on all tracks, and played all of the rhythm and lead guitar parts. I feel like this is the best work that I have done to date, and I am extremely excited to share my music with you.
The CD contains contributions from these great artists:
* Hector Muñoz on drums. He is the long-time drummer for Alejandro Escovedo, and has played with many other national acts.
* Well-known Austin musician Mac McNabb plays numerous instruments.
* Backup singer and songwriter Sarah Smith.
