Notes
. …so it began with these songs. And a inspired moment of Tim and Jeff on a blazingly hot California summer day to form the band St Elmos Fire. It was in Tim's garage in June of 1978 that they decided on what they had to do.
To write, record and perform our music exactly the way they wanted. No rules, no B.S., no trends and no excuses. This album is a perfect example, from pure power pop in "Happy With You" to classic hard rock in "Too Bad" to a live version of their pscho classic "Take the Wires out of My head" St. Elmo's new no boundaries.!It was simple . With Steve and Alan adding their considerable talents this band did just that. And managed to make a lot of noise and have a hell of a good time along the way. So as Tim used to say in his perfect mock English accent, “ Here’s a bit of the old psycho music!”…
Cheers and enjoy!
