Indie folk rock with traces of dylanian roots, Nick Drake's philosophy, musical ambitions and dreams of the Counting crows' "Mr. Jones".
Notes
Sleepwalker's station came to life in 1998 from the womb of the grunge era but increasingly evolved into more acoustic shapes and slowly absorbing all kinds of different influences from mainly folk but also jazz, trip hop, soul, emo and classical music though keeping its original indie soul.
And while the music can be described guitar and piano based, the cello has always been a main instrument importantly characterizing and emphasizing the band's sound.
With the joining of the percussionist the sound of the band experienced an up-beat "rythmication" allowing a wider differetiated songwriting.
