Notes
Philippe Treuille began composing the Requiem as a resident at the Chateau Mercier Foundation in Switzerland. He composed it for full choir and orchestra with its text taken exclusively from the original Latin liturgy for a Requiem mass. The Requiem was premiered on January 30th, 2015 at the Church of the Incarnation in New York City, by The Symphony Chorus, conducted by Henric Ideström, featuring a harp performance by Coline-Marie Orliac, and a violin performance by concertmaster Stephanie Song. The premiere recording is now available for sale online on iTunes and on CD.
