Haunted

From a very a young age, Michelle has been writing music and performing all across the Greater Toronto Area, performing at small local gigs in different bars and venues. At the age of 14, Michelle began writing music and recording with Hua Chang Lee (Creative Producer at 海蝶音樂 Ocean Butterflies Music, Creative executive at 大石 Touch Music Publishing and Songwriter at 大石音 Touch Music Publishing), and later co-wrote and recorded a song with Hua called “Goodbye”. As time went by, Michelle joined her first band and spent 3 years playing in it. During this time, Michelle wrote countless songs and spent many days in the studio recording these songs. The band preformed in many famous venues, such as The Mod Club, The El Mocombo, and many more. Three years later, Michelle decided to leave the band to pursue her solo career.

After leaving the band, Michelle was offered many great opportunities as a solo artist including premiering in a new reality TV show on YTV called SuperGroup. While on the show, Michelle was able to work with Nico Archambault, the winner of the first season of So You Think You Could Dance, Sara Morrison, professional vocal coach, Daman Sharpe who is an award winning record producer and songwriter, and Degrassi singer/ actress Cory Lee. Michelle has over 50 original songs in her repertoire and continues to write and produce in her home studio.

Michelle is presently working on her first solo album at Latitude Studio South in Nashville, Tennessee, where she is able to work with the successful producer, Michael Lattanzi. Michelle released her very first EP on January 26th, which features two singles written by her. On these two songs, Michelle had the great opportunity to have Brad Whitford, the guitarist of Areosmith to play on one of her tracks. She also had amazing musicians such as Nier Zidkyahu, Tommy Harden who is drummer for Reba Macintire, Alyssa Bonagura, and many more. Michelle also has her YouTube channel, which features many different covers by various artists and also original music. Michelle continues to play in numerous venues across the GTA and is looking forward to completing her album in Nashville this June.
