Music inspired by the teachings of a small town church in Missouri. The songs recorded on this album are from a variety of laborers in the vineyard. We thank God for the words, melodies and messages He has inspired.
Notes
In the late 1960's a small group of people congregated in a rural church in Missouri. The church was more like a school as the members studied the bible intensely and with great dedication and devotion. A bible study and spiritual discernment program developed out of this dedication and devotion. These life-promoting teachings abounded and became available 24-7. Year after year people from all over the world found their way to this little rural church; many stayed and studied while others continued their studies from afar. Hundreds if not thousands of people have been spiritually touched and fed by them. Along the way hundreds of songs were inspired by that Word through many different people. The name of our group Many Waters is a reflection of that variety of inspiration. Although the specific rural gathering place has long dissolved, many continue to devote their lives to studying, learning, and teaching God's Word. We hope you enjoy and are blessed by this first volume of Songs of the Voice.
