Here, for the first time, a selection of german marches from the Bandmaster Georg Fürst, the composer of the "Badenweiler Marsch". These marches were recorded in the sixties by a federal german air force band.
Notes
Headmaster Georg Fürst was born on March 31, 1870 in Feuchtwagen the 10th child of Adolf Fürst. In 1889 he entered the Musikkorps of the 5th Bavarian Infantry. Georg Fürst can rightly be considered one of the last clearly "classical" march composers.
